Portfinn Lodge & Fjord Restaurant, run by the Daly family since 1977, is located in the picturesque village of Leenane overlooking the majestic Killary Harbour – Ireland's only fjord, in the heart of Connemara. The fjord is the only Irish entry in Steve Davy's “Unforgettable Places to see before you Die”.
Portfinn's guesthouse accomodation boasts 11 en suite rooms with spectacular views of either Killary Harbour or the Maumturk mountains. Rates for rooms start from €35 in the shoulder seasons to €45 in the high season (per person sharing), and family rooms are also available.
The Fjord Restaurant with its' well deserved reputation for quality food and service, specializes in locally sourced fish, lobster, lamb, beef and mussels. The restaurant is situated on the N59, which has been rated as one of the top ten drives in the world, (AA International), and is able to facilitate private parties or host business events and other special ocasions such as weddings, confirmations, christenings and birthdays
Early bird menu is available daily from 6pm to 7p.m €20.
The Fjord restaurant is open daily from 6p.m. until 9p.m.
